A typical day at our house

You can walk into my apartment on any given day of the week and you will most likely walk into a living room that has completely been taken over by toys, toys, and even more toys. It's insane how quickly my home can go from neat and orderly to a train wreck. Every morning Hurricane Parker blows through at a category 5, and the mass destruction doesn't stop until around 7:00 when the hurricane loses steam and dies down. "That simply cannot be!" you may say. Well my friends, I have proof. Who knew that someone so small could create such a mess?!

I know, it's painful to look at. Oh so painful. But what can one do with a nearly 10 month old in the house? You laugh and just roll with it. That's all you can do because if you don't it will only drive you crazy. These next few pictures depict just a few of the things that Parker does that just make me fall even more in love with him every single day.

Working on his vocals (aka using the mic as a teether). He LOVED hearing himself!

He's getting better at standing on his own every day. He even bounces a little sometimes. It's so unbelievably adorable. I go to bed each night wondering how I could possibly love him more than I already do, and every day he does something that makes my heart want to burst. We are so incredibly lucky to have him in our lives. I hope one day he can understand just how much we love him.
